Tara Pants
Kala Cotton with Embroidery Accents
Some pieces are designed to feel effortless.
The Tara Pants are created for comfort, movement, and everyday wear — a relaxed silhouette that brings together simplicity and craftsmanship.
At the heart of Tara is the fabric.
The pants are made from Kala cotton, naturally dyed using plant-based dyes. Kala cotton is an indigenous cotton grown in the arid landscapes of Kutch, requiring very little water and thriving in harmony with its environment.
What makes this piece special are the hand-embroidered accents.
Small stitches are added by hand across the garment, creating subtle moments of colour and texture. Inspired by traditional embroidery practices, these details are intentionally understated — designed to be discovered rather than announced.
There is a quiet beauty in them.
A stitch here.
A touch of colour there.
Simple details that bring warmth, character, and a sense of the human hand.
The Tara Pants are part of our Bloom collection, where materials, craft traditions, and thoughtful design come together to celebrate slow making and everyday beauty.
